An unbeaten 187 partnership between Hasan Raza (109*) and Jordan Laban (69*) powered Lightcliffe’s 1st XI to another 20-point victory on Saturday.
A busy Till Carr Lane saw the Villagers dismiss the visitors for 221 with Leo Flanagan taking 4-69 and Yusuf Malik 3-31 before reaching that target in the 39th over to win by 9 wickets and go 5th in the Division 1 table.
2nd XI were beaten at league leaders Woodlands who set 289 in their 50 overs (4-57 for Sam Walker). In reply, Lightcliffe were bowled out 100 runs short.
The 3rd XI returned to winning ways with a 6 wicket win over Copley at home.

An incredible spell of bowling from Luke Barrowcliffe, pictured above, saw him take 7 wickets for just 17 runs in 8 overs. With just 132 set as the target, Lightcliffe chased it down within 27 overs.
The 4th XI were set 290 at Slaithwaite but fell short being bowled out for 135 in the 31st over.
