The 1st XI come into the fixture having won four in a row – success that has moved them up to fourth in the Bradford Premier League Division 1 table with four games of the season to go. Batley are tenth in the table and just 11 points clear of the relegation places so will be very keen to get points and stop the Villagers successful run.

At Till Carr Lane, the 2nd XI will welcome Batley’s 2nd XI and both teams will hope to get victories after two defeats in a row. Lightcliffe continue to be fourth in the table with 12 wins from the season, while Batley are seventh with just 6 wins.

After a week’s break, the 3rd XI and 4th XI return to action on Sunday. The 3rds, top of Halifax Sunday League Division 1, make the journey to Triangle who are in the relegation places in seventh. The 4ths, who are in seventh in Division 3 just four points above the relegation spots, host third-placed Armitage Bridge.

Our junior teams face the first of a series of Finals on Sunday as well. The U11s are in the Bradford Junior Cricket League’s U11 decider at East Bierley at 10am for the Ernest Jones Trophy. It’s a 25-over match with Farsley the opponents.
