Ossett are the visitors at Till Carr Lane at midday on Saturday – they’ve won two and lost one in the Bradford Premier League Division 1 so far this season.
It'll be the first chance for home fans to see overseas signing Hasan Raza and seamer Osama Ahmad in action with an unchanged side from last week's much improved performance at Undercliffe.
Huge thanks to our match sponsor Roger & Linda Stead.
The 2nd XI will look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season last weekend as they visit Methley. When Rob Burton’s team last visited Little Church Lane, just two weeks ago, they secured a comprehensive Priestley Shield win so they’ll be looking for a similar result this Saturday.
With Sunday seeing Halifax League Cup action, there are no games for our 3rd XI or 4th XI this weekend, but it promises to be a Super Sunday at Till Carr Lane with our youngest and oldest cricketers in action.
The morning sees our U9s welcome Outlane and U11s host Batley – bacon rolls, croissants, tea & coffee will be available from 10am.
Then, the afternoon sees a first for Lightcliffe – our Over 50s team in action in Yorkshire’s Grey Fox Trophy. A host of club legends and familiar faces will take to the field as we take on Pudsey St Lawrence from 1pm. The clubhouse bar will be open from 1pm and all are welcome through the day in this 30-over a side clash that will be one you don’t want to miss.
