ECB - Updated Guidance - The Return of Cricket

Kevin Booth28 Mar 2021 - 08:51

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have updated their guidance for the return of Cricket, as part of the Government roadmap.

From 29th March 2021 there is an easing of the restriction to outdoor sport.
The links below provide information which local Leagues and LCC will need to factor into planning for re-opening clubs and re-engaging in the sport.

Barring unforeseen occurrences, it seems likely Cricket will return with local leagues planning to commence Senior cricket from Sat 17th April.

ALL activities will remain within the restrictive covenenants imposed last summer (and all club members are reminded to digest and adhere to the guidelines as published and updated).

We will notify on steps to reopen the club, practice facilities and preparation for cricket matches shortly.
