The 30-year-old from Mirpur emerged through the country’s youth pathways, representing regional and under-age sides, including Pakistan U19s, before progressing into the senior circuit where he’s recently been captaining the first-class side Habib Bank.
As a left-handed batter he’s contributed crucial runs throughout his career while also offering right-arm medium-pace and spin options with the ball. He’s also experienced at playing in this part of the world having had a stint at Batley in 2022.
His delayed arrival in the UK for the start of the season is due to him being at a Pakistan national training camp and we’re looking forward to him joining up with the team in the coming hours.
