This weekend, talented Lightcliffe junior all-rounder Ollie Wood will be back in action for his latest round of matches as part of Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Emerging Players’ Programme.

The 10-year old was selected as part of the Pathway which aims to identify and develop elite youth cricketers with personalised development plans, specialised training sessions and matchplay opportunities.

The young Villager, who’s represented the club brilliantly at U11 and U13 level this season, as well as playing in the Halifax Junior Representative League, will play on Sundays over the next few weeks for West Yorkshire with more matches over the summer holidays.
