With the bat, Lightcliffe produced a strong collective effort. Richard (43 off 31) and Dylan (22 off 18) provided a solid platform, before the innings accelerated through the middle overs.
The standout contribution came from Jack, who smashed 40 off just 12 balls (4 fours, 4 sixes) at a remarkable strike rate of 333.33, putting the game firmly out of reach. He was well supported by Sam (40 off 24) and Isaac (an unbeaten 38 off 19), while Jack (11 off 6) added late runs to push the total past 200.
In reply, Adwalton struggled against a disciplined and well-rounded Lightcliffe bowling attack.
The wickets were shared across the side, with Freddie leading the way with an outstanding spell of 4-13 from 4 overs, while Oli claimed 3-20 from 3 overs to keep the pressure on.
Further support came from Seth (1-27), Dylan (1-2) and Isaac (1-5), ensuring there was no let-up throughout the innings. Although Jack bowled economically (0-10 from 3 overs), it was the collective effort that proved decisive.
Adwalton were eventually restricted to 93 all out in 16 overs, unable to keep up with the required rate or build any meaningful partnerships.
Lightcliffe therefore won convincingly by around 125 runs, with a complete performance highlighted by explosive batting and clinical bowling.
